I went north and presented some research at Radford University. I circled the very beautiful campus. And, I also go to see two young men who I have not seen in a long time and I am thankful for our brief reuniting.

Keep the Rubber Side Down

First time Over-the-Bars. First flat tire on the trail. Second time Over-the-Bars.
Rode my bike for the first time in a while. Loved it and got reminded what it's all about at the same time: find your limit. Push your limit.
A flat tire with a bit of downhill grade can get you...
But the scrapes wont be too bad.
Runnin' Into the Night

First trail run in the Vibram Fives. First nighttime trail run. First run of April. First run with Molly in 2010. First nighttime trail run of April in my Fives with Molly.
A bit of singletrack and a cheap headlamp make for a good way to beat the premature summer heat in these Carolina Mountains.
After this short run, I believe my barefoot adventures will continue..
And, of course, Dog will come along.
